Hometown Barista - Extra Shot w/ That?

Who wouldn't want to move back to this summer view? I loved growing up on a ranch at the base of beautiful mountains, just twenty minutes away from a charming small town.

There is something special about growing up in a small community - everyone's your neighbor & willing to lend a helping hand, supporting local shops is a no brainer and kids safely stay out riding bikes in the summer until the street lights come on. Growing up on a ranch sparked my interest in creating a quality product while being a good steward of the environment and working with other people that share that value of quality and doing things the right way.

Now, most importantly - the beginning of my love for coffee. When I was little, I loved the smell of fresh brewed coffee in the morning (this has never stopped btw). In high school, I worked at a local coffee shop with a group of friends. We loved it! At the time, it didn't get much better than working with your close friends at a cute coffee shot, listening to music and serving up great drinks. My days as a barista, or as I sometimes say 'bartender in a coffee shop', didn’t stop there.

During summers when I was home from college and again after college I made impromptu appearances as a barista for small periods of time. And it was confirmed, I loved coffee.

Coffee + Local + Being an Environmental Steward + Being My Own Boss = Dream Come True
